Tanya Mittal Brings 800 Sarees Into Bigg Boss 19

Reality show Bigg Boss 19 officially kicked off after the grand premier on August 24, and while Salman Khan’s grand hosting return set the stage, Influencer and entrepreneur Tanya Mittal had stolen the spotlight. Her reason? She’s entered the house with a jaw-dropping collection of 800 sarees and plans to wear three every single day.

“I Am Not Leaving My Luxuries Behind”

Tanya made her intentions clear before stepping into the Bigg Boss house. “I am not leaving my luxuries behind, I am taking my jewellery, accessories, and more than 800 sarees inside the house. For every day, I have decided on 3 sarees which I will be changing throughout the day,” she said.

This bold fashion move isn’t the only headline-making statement from Tanya. On day one, she opened up about her personal security, claiming her bodyguards once saved “100 people in Kumbh Mela, even police.” According to her, walking with tight security is a long-standing family tradition.

Contestants and Theme of the Season

The Bigg Boss 19 contestants lineup is stacked with names like Ashnoor Kaur, Zeishan Quadri, Nagma Mirajkar, Awez Darbar, Abhishek Bajaj, Nehal Chudasama, Baseer Ali, Gaurav Khanna, Natalia Janoszek, Pranit More, Neelam Giri, Kunickaa Sudanand, Amaal Mallik, and Mridul Tiwari. Farhana Bhatt was the first to be voted out during the premiere.

This year’s theme, “Gharwalon Ki Sarkaar,” puts decision-making power in the hands of the contestants, adding a fresh dynamic to the format. New episodes stream daily on JioHotstar at.  9 PM IST and airs on Colors TV at 10:30 PM IST.
