A Drive-In for the Future: Tesla’s Diner Opens in LA

Tesla has launched a one-of-a-kind Supercharger Diner and Drive-In in Los Angeles– where nostalgia meets next-gen tech.

Located on Santa Monica Boulevard, the two-story site blends 1950s diner charm with a modern EV charging hub. Neon signs, chrome finishes, and vintage decor set the tone, while Tesla’s line up outside under glowing Superchargers.

Charge Up with a Side of Fries

The diner serves classic comfort food—burgers, fries, and shakes—all ordered through Tesla’s in-car display or at the counter for walk-ins. Guests can watch short films on two massive LED screens from their cars or rooftop balcony seating

With 80 Supercharger stalls, the location is built to handle high traffic. It turns wait time into a full-on experience. Also it provides 250+ seating arrangements for the guests.

This unique location combines a classic American diner and drive-in experience with retro-futuristic design elements. Situated on historic Route 66, it provides charging access for both Tesla and non-Tesla electric vehicles.

Retro Design, Future Tech

The concept, first teased by Elon Musk in 2018, is now fully realized. Powered by solar panels and battery storage, the diner aligns with Tesla’s sustainability goals. Even the staff uniforms match the retro-futuristic theme.

For Tesla drivers, it’s not just a pit stop—it’s a destination.
