Breakfast Club Dhaka Hits the Coast: Season 2 Expands Beyond the City

When Breakfast Club Dhaka launched in April 2025, it promised a fresh way to start the day. Instead of late-night parties, it offered sunrise gatherings filled with music, coffee, and community. By the end of Season 1, it had already redefined Dhaka’s weekends. Now, with Season 2 underway, the movement is growing — and for the first time, taking the vibe outside the capital.

Toast on the Coast: A New Chapter

On September 13, 2025, Breakfast Club Dhaka hosted Toast on the Coast — Season 2’s second episode and its first-ever show outside Dhaka. Set on the shores of Cox’s Bazar, the event drew 150 guests, with 80 traveling from Dhaka and the rest from the local scene.

The lineup featured Cox’s Bazar DJs Izhaqo and Nadia, with Nadia making her debut performance. From sunrise calm to deep house grooves, coffee cups in hand, guests danced as waves and basslines rolled together.

Hosted at Mermaid Café (Marine Drive) with Air Astra as airline partner, the production carried the Breakfast Club ethos into a new setting — mornings built on music, food, and connection.

From Season 1 to the Shoreline

Season 1 made its mark with seven Dhaka editions in rooftop cafés and garden spaces — blending coffee, croissants, and curated DJ sets as an alternative to nightlife. It built a loyal community of young professionals, students, and creatives who embraced mornings as ritual.

With Toast on the Coast, founders OMDG (Tonmoy D. Gupta) and TAK (Tawsif Alam Khan) revealed the next step: every season will now feature at least one out-of-city episode.

Why It Matters

Toast on the Coast proved the concept travels. In Cox’s Bazar, strangers became friends, locals and Dhaka regulars danced together, and the seaside setting gave the gathering a new dimension. For artists like Izhaqo and Nadia, it was a chance to showcase local talent on home ground. For the community, it was a reminder that mornings can be just as exciting as nights, and maybe even more memorable.
