Coca-Cola’s popular mango juice drink Maaza has surpassed the growth rate of this company’s fizzy brands Thums Up and Sprite.
While Thums Up retains the company’s top brand in terms of scale, this drink is now the fastest-growing segment.
The organizers believe this beverage will sell a billion dollars “within the next years.” The beverage company intends to export the mango drink to countries outside India, for which it is pursuing regulatory country-specific approvals.
Coca-Cola recently launched Zero Sugar, the mango-based beverage Aam Panna underneath the Maaza franchise, and Fanta Sparkling Apple.
