The Story of Hooligaanism

Formed in Kolkata, Hooligaanism is a nine-member Bengali band that merges traditional folk roots with contemporary protest-pop energy. The lineup includes Anirban Bhattacharya, Subhadeep Guha, Debraj Bhattacharya, Krishanu Ghosh, Sushruta Goswami, Nilansuk Datta, Pritam Das, Pritam Deb Sarkar, and Someswar Bhattacharya.

Their breakout single Melar Gaan earned significant coverage and attention across platforms . With each release, Hooligaanism continues to push the boundaries of Bengali folk fusion while staying deeply rooted in community and culture.
