She placed fifth at the Bangladesh Physics Olympiad, sold paintings in national exhibitions, and became a feature writer before her 25th birthday, when she also owned property independently. Now, Tanisha Israt Siddiqui is building experience led brands that move between beauty, fitness, Gen Z culture, and hospitality. Behind each venture is the same instinct: taking something familiar and asking how people could experience it differently.
The Many Worlds of Tanisha Israt Siddiqui
Today, she is Partner and Director at Krishibari Estates, Partner and COO at Freya Makeover and Salon, and a Partner at The Workout Club and Yokai. Her ventures span beauty, Gen Z lifestyle culture, fitness and hospitality, yet they are connected by one constant: taking something familiar and reconsidering how people experience it.
That instinct has taken her from paintings to salons, from recovery focused gyms to a nature led retreat near Dhaka. But behind the growth is a less visible story: one about building teams, accepting criticism, creating systems, and learning how to turn creativity into something that can scale.
Before the Businesses, Tanisha Was Already Creating
Creativity shaped how she saw the world long before she began building companies.
Painting was one of her earliest outlets. She sold her work, participated in national exhibitions and learned something crucial: a seemingly simple idea could become something another person connected with emotionally. At the same time, she excelled in Physics, placing fifth and earning a gold medal at the Bangladesh Physics Olympiad.
That contrast became characteristic of her career. Tanisha was never especially interested in staying inside one lane.
Writing came next, as a feature writer for The Financial Express, then freelance content creation and brand work. Stories shape perception. Marketing added another layer, giving her insight into consumer behavior and the mechanics behind building a brand people actually remember. Business development introduced her to the other side of creativity: turning an interesting idea into a viable opportunity.
Art trained her eye. Writing trained her voice. Marketing taught her to understand audiences. Business gave her the structure to turn all three into something tangible. The canvas was simply getting bigger.
When Creativity Became Something People Could Walk Into
Tanisha’s first entrepreneurial instinct was not to build an empire. It began with a specific frustration around beauty.
She was interested in self care that felt healthier and more authentic, skin friendly treatments and makeup that enhanced natural features rather than disguising them. That philosophy found expression through Freya Makeover and Salon, created to bring a more considered, premium beauty experience to Mirpur DOHS.
Freya revealed something important about the kind of entrepreneur Tanisha wanted to become. She cared not only about the final service, she cared about the environment surrounding it.
The idea of experience became central to her work. A salon could be more than an appointment. A gym could be more than equipment. A resort could be more than somewhere to spend the night. Even Yokai, which serves customers across Bangladesh with lifestyle and Gen Z pop culture products, carries that same creative instinct into the world of self expression and identity.

The Workout Club: Fitness As Community
That philosophy became even clearer with The Workout Club.
Tanisha and her partners saw growing demand for better fitness options in Mirpur DOHS, but they didn’t simply want to open another room filled with machines. They wanted to build a place where training, recovery and community worked together. The result was a broader wellness ecosystem built around professional training, group classes and a social environment designed to make consistency easier.
Recovery became an important part of that experience. The Workout Club became Bangladesh’s first commercial gym to introduce ice bath recovery and Hijama treatment, bringing practices that were still relatively unfamiliar in the country’s mainstream commercial fitness scene into the member experience.
In 2026, The Workout Club received the “Fastest Growing Gym Brand” award from the Bangladesh Bodybuilding Federation. The brand currently operates in Mirpur DOHS and Banani 11, with a third branch planned for Bashundhara Residential Area.
Yet for Tanisha, growth is not simply measured by how many locations appear on a map. The more important question is whether the experience survives the expansion.
The Hardest Part Happens After the Idea
Entrepreneurship is often told through openings, launches and milestones. Tanisha’s experience has taught her that some of the most important work happens much later.
As her businesses grew, one challenge repeatedly surfaced: people and systems. Hiring talented employees was not enough. She needed teams that understood the culture and expectations behind each business, while also having enough ownership to operate without every decision returning to the founders.
Growth also forced informal habits to become structured processes. Customer service standards had to remain consistent. Financial controls became more important. Performance needed to be measured, and accountability had to exist without stripping the businesses of their personality.
Entrepreneurship is not simply about launching businesses. It is about building resilient organizations.

For a founder driven heavily by creativity, learning how to build structure around that creativity may have been one of the most consequential lessons of all.
Krishibari Estates: Her Biggest Canvas Yet
Then came Krishibari Estates.
What drew Tanisha to the property was not a finished concept waiting to be marketed. It was the opposite: she saw how much potential remained untouched. Located roughly 30 minutes from Dhaka in Savar, Krishibari offered the possibility of creating an escape close enough to the capital to feel accessible, yet removed enough to give guests a genuine change of pace.
Tanisha and her partners began shaping that opportunity into a nature led retreat built around quiet luxury, privacy and experiences that feel deliberately slower than city life. The estate welcomes families, corporate groups, expatriates, tourists and guests looking for retreats or private events.
Its personality is built through details rather than excess: natural surroundings, recreational spaces, a gaming zone, an aviary and even two resident huskies. For Tanisha, hospitality provides something her other businesses cannot quite offer: the ability to design an entire world around how a guest spends their time.

Building an Experience, Not Simply a Resort
The goal at Krishibari is not to compete only through rooms, amenities or traditional resort features. Tanisha wants the estate to feel like a destination with its own rhythm and identity, one that continuously evolves rather than settling into a fixed formula.
A larger public pool is currently being explored, building on the smaller pool already available at the estate. New recreational and hospitality concepts are also part of the broader ambition to keep the property alive and responsive to what guests actually seek.
It is easy to see why Krishibari appeals to someone who began as a painter. A painting asks the artist to think about every part of the frame. Hospitality does something similar, except the people experiencing it are standing inside the composition. For Tanisha, creativity is no longer something people simply look at. Increasingly, it is something they can step into.

Different Businesses, The Same Instinct
Beauty, fitness, Gen Z lifestyle culture and hospitality do not create the most obvious business portfolio. For Tanisha, that is precisely what makes the journey interesting.
The connection between Freya, Yokai, The Workout Club and Krishibari Estates is not the industry they belong to. It is the way each one begins with an existing experience and asks: how could this feel more relevant, memorable or complete?
That mindset also shapes how she defines success. Numbers matter. Tanisha is clear that strong commercial performance is part of building a sustainable company. But she places equal importance on impact and what a business contributes to the people it serves.
Outside her ventures, that belief also appears through personal philanthropic initiatives. Tanisha has organized iftar for people in need and at orphanages, alongside winter clothing donations carried out independently rather than through her businesses. Success, in her world, has to show up on more than one balance sheet.

Among all the milestones in Tanisha’s journey, one remains especially personal: she had always wanted to own property independently before 30, and she reached that goal before 25. For her, the achievement was less about the property itself and more about what it represented, proof that persistence, self belief and an unconventional path could still lead somewhere meaningful.
That same mindset continues to shape how she works today, with transparency, constructive criticism and continuous improvement at the center of how she approaches both business and leadership.
Now, with The Workout Club preparing for its third branch in Bashundhara and Krishibari Estates continuing to evolve, Tanisha is still building with the same curiosity that shaped her early years.
People will judge you when you start small. Friends and family may not support you. Don’t let that kill your confidence or stop you from pursuing your dreams. We learn along the way. We learn from our mistakes. Every experience teaches us something.

From paintings and stories to businesses people can step into, Tanisha’s path has never been linear, and perhaps that is exactly what makes it compelling.
