Ozzy Osbourne is a British singer, songwriter, and heavy metal icon. He’s best known as the original frontman of Black Sabbath, the pioneers of heavy metal. Born in Birmingham in 1948, he rose to fame in the early 1970s. In 1979, Ozzy left Sabbath and launched a wildly successful solo career. His albums Blizzard of Ozz and Diary of a Madman became metal staples. With hits like “Crazy Train” and “Mr.Crowley,” Ozzy became a rock legend.
Across both careers, he’s sold over 100 million records and won multiple Grammy Awards. He’s also a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee. Known as The Prince of Darkness, Ozzy’s legacy spans music, pop culture, and TV.

The show concludes The End Tour, which began in 2016 as a global farewell. But this night will be more personal, more emotional, and more official. “It’s going to be hard to hold back the tears,” Ozzy told Louder Sound. “This is where we started. It’s where it has to end.”
Joining him are longtime bandmates Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler. Original drummer Bill Ward will not participate due to long-standing issues. Yet the band promises a performance that honors their full legacy. Expect a playlist of Sabbath’s most iconic songs,“Iron Man,” “War Pigs,” “Paranoid”. Rare footage and on-screen tributes will round out the night. For fans, it’s a chance to witness heavy metal history one last time.

Despite health challenges, including spinal surgery and a Parkinson’s diagnosis, Ozzy remains focused on finishing strong. As BBC notes in their tribute, Ozzy is determined: “I just want to give the fans one last great Sabbath night,” he said.
