Ami Dhakaâs latest collection, âHeritage Futurism in Modest Fashionâ, draws from Bangladeshâs rich textile legacy â featuring muslin, silk, khadi, katan, and block-printed fabrics.
The ten curated looks combine traditional craftsmanship with modern minimalism, creating an immersive experience of modest fashion. Detailed handwork like karchupi, zardosi, and metal embroidery adds understated luxury, while the pieces flow with intentional fluidity.
Sattarâs Vision: âHeritage should not just be referenced â it should be lived.â This collection emphasizes sustainability, mindful design, and the importance of preserving Bangladeshâs cultural identity.

At IN2MOTIONFEST 2025, Ami Dhaka joined an international roster of designers, including Fiziwoo (Malaysia) and Yodyko (Thailand). Together, they showcased how fashion can be a tool for cultural dialogue, using craft as a universal language.
Ami Dhakaâs show stood out for its calm sophistication. The minimalist stage and the slow, deliberate movements of the models allowed each garment to shine as a living narrative.

Ami Dhakaâs journey continues at Arka Fashion Week in Dhaka from 5â8 December 2025. The brand plans to keep exploring how heritage futurism can reshape the future of fashion, combining local artisanship with global sustainability trends.
