For many immigrants, identity often becomes a delicate balancing act. Between survival and assimilation, the rich layers of cultural heritage are sometimes the first things left behind. One founder is working to change that — by making cultural reconnection not only possible, but powerful.
Cultures Link, an online platform headquartered in Algeciras, Spain, is reimagining how immigrants reconnect with their roots. Founded by Anjana Vaid, a third-cultured immigrant born in India, raised in Azerbaijan, and now living in Spain, Cultures Link is the result of personal pain turned into a global purpose. Anjana’s experience growing up in a post-Soviet country left little room for her to explore her South Asian identity. It wasn’t until she met other South Asians in Spain who proudly embraced their culture that she realized how much she had lost — and how deeply others might feel the same.

With an International Marketing degree and a passion for healing cultural disconnection, Anjana launched Cultures Link during her final semester of university. The platform offers structured, immersive programs that help users reconnect with their heritage, understand their cultural narrative, and reclaim their identity with confidence.
One of its most popular programs is the Heritage Reconnection Program — a guided experience for those who feel distant from their culture. Participants are introduced to elements of their heritage through curated resources, digital activities, and personalized coaching sessions. The Overcoming Homesickness Program is specially designed for newly migrated individuals struggling to adapt to their new environment. It provides emotional support, mentorship, and community-building exercises that allow participants to feel rooted — even in a foreign land.
For those dreaming of entrepreneurship, Cultures Link offers the Ethnic Entrepreneurs Program, a six-month mentorship experience that transforms cultural knowledge into business strategy. Participants receive access to certified business coaches, expert-led sessions, and real-world tools to create and scale ventures that represent their heritage.Package tier prices range from 50 – 160 euros per month, this tier provides high-touch support and a proven framework for launching meaningful projects in the diaspora.
As Cultures Link prepares for expansion, in a strategic move, the team appointed Zara Makhdoom as Co-Founder; A British Pakistani leader with deep experience in the arts and social impact sectors across the UK and US. Together, Anjana and Zara aim to scale Cultures Link into a global destination for cultural reconnection and empowerment.

What makes Cultures Link stand out is its approach. Most organizations either focus on heritage preservation or skills development — rarely both. Cultures Link addresses a deeper, more personal need: the emotional healing of identity loss. It operates at the intersection of cultural education and mental wellness, a space that remains underserved yet vital for immigrants finding their footing in new societies.
While their programs follow structured formats, coaching sessions are deeply personal, taking into account the unique background, challenges, and goals of each individual. This hybrid model of community engagement and one-on-one support makes Cultures Link a standout in an industry dominated by one-size-fits-all models.
In a short time, Cultures Link has earned both attention and admiration. They’ve led a masterclass at Schellhammer Business School attended by over 120 students. In collaboration with Yuptel, Spain’s first Indian telecom company, they hosted an online event about dating and identity for Indian immigrants in Europe. Their impact on social media has been equally impressive, amassing over 350,000 views on TikTok and 140,000 insights on Instagram in just one month. The startup is also officially registered with We Make Change, aligning with global efforts to create socially driven impact.

Cultures Link is more than a business — it’s a healing space for South Asian, Central Asian, and Latin American immigrants to reconnect with their roots. From first-gen to third-cultured kids, it helps communities reclaim their identity, build confidence, and create opportunity. Here, culture isn’t just remembered — it’s reimagined.
Whether you’re struggling to feel connected, trying to build a life abroad, or want your kids to grow up with cultural pride, Cultures Link has built a safe, smart, and soulful space just for you.
